It is our way of acknowledging the important role of volunteer-led, non-profit organizations in our community. The objectives of these community-based organizations are in keeping with one of our Co-operative Principles: Concerrn for Community.
The Your Community Account is for non-profit organizations meeting all of the following criteria:
- Is a Not-For-Profit organization
- Is a Local organization supporting the community through social programs contributing to the well-being of the community
- Is managed by a Volunteer Board of Directors or Committee
- The majority of Funding is through fundraising & donations
- Is a Registered charitable Organization
